This guide may vary depending on what set you buy, so if the kit is different don't expect the guide to be 100% right
This is the kit I was using, purchased from HID's Direct. It's a 6000k H4-3.

Looks like this once unpackaged:

First of all, take one MK6 Fiesta with standard headlights:

Remove the grill and headlights.
Grill just pops up if you pull it upwards. Release the clips on either end and put it out of the way.
Headlights are held in by 3 screws. Undo these and then pull the headlight forwards, it should unclip and be accessible. Remove the plug and put the headlight somewhere safe.

On the back of the headlights, remove this cap, just a case of turning slightly and it comes off.

You need to drill a hole in this, it was recommended to drill a 25mm hole, but I didn't have that big a drill bit, so I just did the best with what I had. It needs to be big enough to fit the plugs through so aslong as you can get it through then it's fine.

Then remove the original bulb. Simply pull the metal clip out from the holder (use leverage from a flat head screwdriver if needed) and pull the bulb out. Avoid letting the bulb contact the edges or touching it with your hands.

Put the HID bulb in, repeat the process of taking the old one out.

Back to the car. Lay the ballast and wiring on the engine. Go to one side and find out roughly where you're going to mount the ballast and cable tie it in place. (Don't follow where I put mine in this next pic, as when I was trying to put the headlight in, it was fouling the ballast so I moved it). Make sure wherever you mount it, all the relevant wires can reach their locations.
Find an earth point for the ballasts. This was mine on the RHS:

And underneath the coolant bottle on the LHS:

This is where I have my ballast mounted:

Make sure when you wired up the ballasts, you got this plug the right way round, otherwise you're HID's won't work. As I found out! If it doesn't work this could be the reason why.

Mounted ballast on the RHS. Tidy up the wiring so it's not going to foul and hot pipes/fan etc using cable ties.

Now, take the Positive terminal which is on the wire with the fuses (Number 2 in the picture below) and attach it to the battery.
Attach the plug (Number 1) to the old plug which the old bulb was originally plugged into. (Make sure you put it through the cap we cut a hole in earlier, and make sure the plug sits OUTSIDE the cap, otherwise it may foul the lamp when you move it from the auto levelling dial by the light switch in the car). You only have 1 of these plugs so they only need to go into one of the headlights.

Get one of the headlights now, and rest it on the bumper so you can access the wiring aswell as the back of the headlight. You should have 3 wires coming out the back of the headlight. Find the relevant plugs and plug them in. Again, make sure you route these through the cap and that the plugs sit outside the cap. Screw the cap on the same way you removed it. And attach the headlight then repeat it on the opposite side, and then re-attach the grill.

Turn the engine on, and put the headlights on, hopefully you get this:

Leave them on for at least 10 minutes, I left mine for 15.
And this should be the finished product. I don't have any pictures at night yet but I'll get some. Definetly a worthwhile mod.
