Was in Brasov 22-23 sept. Really a nice place. I suggest also Royal Peles castle in Sinaia - between Bucharest and Brasov. However, I was too late there to see it inside.

nothing changed about the dates: 1-4 june - most important days are saturday 2nd of june (the party) and sunday 3rd of june (the meeting and line-up)

registration procedure will be like in previous years
1. first u have to register as user on the romanian forum
2. we'll put up a site for registrations, it is something like zilele.clubford.ro - i will give exact link when it's up
3. register on zilele.clu.... site
4. wait to be contacted by travel agency that handles registrations
5. make payment
6. come to the event and have a good time

u have to know that there is priority given to romanian association members for accomodation; if hotel is filled-up, we will offer alternative accomodation options (some of them very close to Grand Hotel Perla Ciucasului), or you can find your own - hotel, pension, whatever you like (you can use http://www.booking.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; or any similar site) in Brasov or around

Long waited news, adi!

Thanks for notification! We shall look forward your follow up message here on the site for registration, as well as how long should we wait to know if romanian association members have booked, so we can proceed with our bookings. I believe also it would be easier for us to make group bookings, because there will not be that many people and not all of them will be able to register and follow the process you described (lack of english knowledge).
The exchange rate I found is 1 lev = 2,237 ron = 0,5 euro (appr.)
This means rooms are ~35 euro double room + breakfast per night.

I look forward your prompt reply upon more information on the above and confimration.

since Dani is member on romanian forum, it is best u all keep in touch with her before registering on event site - i mean she can register her name and say number of participants is 8 (so we know how many of u are coming)

THE PARTY MENU

OPTION A
Peasant's snack made from hotel's own farm:
- various kinds of sweet cheese products (cow milk)
- hard yellow cheese made from sheep milk
- soft yellow cheese from cow milk
- pork bacon
- pastrami
- small sausages
- red onion
- fresh tomatoes
- fresh cucumber
- fresh pepperoni
- hot peppers


- grilled pork sirloin
- lamb cooked in earthened pot
- rosemary potatoes
- pickled cucumbers salad

- TIRAMISU
Drinks: wine, 1 beer, 1 still/mineral water

OPTION B

Peasant's snack made from hotel's own farm:

- meatrolls in cabbage leaves, with polenta, hot peppers and sourcream
- grilled pork

Drinks: wine, 1 beer, 1 still/mineral water

Price is 100 ron/option/person, no matter what option you choose. Apart from the drinks which are included in the menu, each person pays for whatever he/she orders from the bar.

If you don't want a menu, you can attend the party and order "a la carte" whatever you like from their available menu. In this case, there is an entry fee to the party of 30 ron/person.

For those of you who wish to attend this event, the Romanian Association will support 30% of the accomodation price.

Registration site should be up in a few days.
